Congenital Anomaly Scan in Quezon City

Are you also searching for ultrasound clinic in Quezon City? Specifically in Novaliches area.

I also tried to make some research to nearby clinics for I need to be practical, since some clinics are offering same procedure but different prices.

I first asked the hospital I am going to for my pre-natal check up. I called Pacific Global Medical Center to ask their rate and it is around 3100 pesos. Yes? It's almost the same price of a 4d ultrasound. Second inquiry was at Face to Face in SM North Edsa. 2D CAS is 2500. Wow quite cheaper than the first one. If you want to have your Congenital Scan you have to call them for an appointment and they have fixed schedule Tuesday 12NN to 4PM and Friday 3-6 PM. See the photo below for their package:

Third clinic I called is New World Diagnostic in Baesa. CAS is at 1800+. After finding out it's the cheapest I settled. I didn't book for an appointment because it's a first come first serve. They just informed me the schedule of Sonologist. We decided to go there on Thursday. Sadly, the sonologist had an emergency and there's no assurance if she can possibly be back in the afternoon. We went home with a little disappointment. Tried to stop by some ultrasound clinics along the way. The cheapest clinic is the one beside Ann Francis. If I'm not mistaken the name is Quezon City ultrasound. It's only 1500. Price is right. However, the schedule will be in the afternoon. So, we decided to go home and just come back later. We had to buy something at the market while walking my feet brought me to Bernardino Hospital. I checked its rate and it is close to New World. The cost is around 1900+      and there's an available sonologist. Then, I guess I found the right place for we cannot wait to finish the ultrasound and know the gender of our baby. I was on the wait list time seemed very slow. Finally, it's my turn. It feels so wonderful seeing my baby's whole body complete. The doctor checked all parts and everything was great. Thanks God! The CAS took around 20 minutes because my baby didn't want us to know the gender. The sono tried his best to move the legs but they're crossed. The suspense took longer than expected and was informed to come back on her next schedule or later in the afternoon for the gender. Awww baby why oh why... Anyway, I will update about my baby's gender on my next blog.

Here's the summary of prices I collected
New World Diagnostic - 1800+
Pacific Global Medical Center - 3100
Quezon City Ultrasound Clinic (beside Ann Francis Maternity Hospital) - 1500
Bernardino General Hospital - 1900+
Face to Face Ultrasound Clinic - 2500
Lagro OB Gyne Ultrasound Clinic - 2600

Hope you can find them helpful mommies.

1st Check up!March 16th

1st Check up!March 16th I was so scared and worried. I didn't know what to do.. I've never been hospitalized before. We waited for few minutes before my name was called...The OB just asked few questions... And told me that I was 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant. She advised me to take folic acid for my baby's brain development.I was told to have Trans-V ultrasound to see the baby... After hours of waiting I had the result. A bean like in my uterus. Oh I am really pregnant. After joy there's a big problem to face.. My mother.. (full story)

It's positive :)

Few days after our conception, I noticed some changes in me, my mood.. sleeping pattern.. cravings.. and feeling so weak. I didn't tell anybody about it. I started to check early signs of pregnancy and feeling nervous everytime there's a sign checked. Few weeks later, I tried to have a pregnancy test.. And Yes, It's positive! I got mixed emotion that time. First, I was so happy because I'm a real woman. Yeepee! I can bear a child. Second, I was so scared 'coz I didn't know how will I tell it to my mother. And last, I felt excitement.. thinking how will my baby look like, the gender, and so on.. On the other hand.. My boyfriend was so happy! It's like a dream come true for him.. He was so proud and eager to tell everybody about the good news. And yeah..the next day his mom knew about it already..then his aunts and uncles, friends and colleagues. That's how happy he was.
